Bolted and Welded Steel Tank Inspection

​G.E.N.T.S’ Enterprises is qualified to perform inspections on existing bolted and welded steel storage tanks.  We have over 20 years in the industry in addition to the incredible experience of our employees.  G.E.N.T.S’ Enterprises is also a dedicated provider of water tank rehabilitation and maintenance services.  We begin with a professional and comprehensive initial evaluation of the bolted tank or welded tank.  Then we develop the scope of work to rehabilitate the storage tank from the following perspectives:  

  • Structural Integrity – AWWA D-100 and D103 Specifications
  • Safety Regulations – OSHA 29 CRF 1910
  • Security Compliance – AWWA Recommendations and Sanitary Requirements – State Health Department Requirements
  • API 653 – Tank Inspection, Repair, Alteration and Reconstruction

 

We will perform both interior and exterior LDEQ inspections to assure that the tank’s physical integrity, water quality, and security are in compliance.  All inspections include a professional report containing the following:​

  • Pit and Blister Analysis
  • Water Access Hatch, Vent and Internal/External Ladder Conditions
  • Reporting of Sediment/Debris Levels
  • Corrosion Estimates (as needed)
  • Recommendations for Any Repairs Needed per AWWA Standards

 

Leak Detection/Repairs for Water Towers and Tanks
G.E.N.T.S’ Enterprises can perform water tower leak detection services and repair many types of damage while your potable water tank remains in-service.  We use a solvent-less, 100% solids, corrosion resistant epoxy coating that can be applied to dry or wet surfaces.
